The Youth Hostel “Volkshaus” awaits our guests – newly renovated, open all year round and located in a central spot in the beautiful town of Innsbruck, making it an ideal starting place for all your activities.
Enjoy Innsbruck with all of its sights and the traditional Tyrolean atmosphere that resonates throughout the town – combining historical elements with cultural highlights, rounded off by a huge palette of sports facilietes and opportunities.
THE ROOMS IN THE VOLKSHAUS | YOUTH HOSTEL INNSBRUCK
We offer 16 rooms, all newly renovated, that can sleep 52 guests. Every room has free WiFi. One private single room, 8 private doubles, 6 four-bed-rooms and 2 six-bed-dorms, some of which have ensuite shower/WC. For the other rooms, shower/WC are located on the same floor.
ANTI-ALLERGY
Our Volkshaus Innsbruck | Youth Hostel Innsbruck is especially suitable for guests with allergies. All rooms are equipped with brand-new, 14 cm hotel mattresses with permanently anti-bacterial High-Clean-Silver covers, “Jersey Classic Hotel“ sheets and „Seersucker Standard“ linen. We can also provide hand- and bath towels (small fee).
ACCOMMODATION
Our Volkshaus | Youth Hostel Innsbruck (formerly “Volkshaus Innsbruck“) is part of a sports facilities complex. Meals are available in the restaurant in the house. The building also features an event location for 340 guests, three bowling alleys and a common room with a flatscreen TV. Tennis courts and a football pitch are located behind the building.
There is a bus stop right outside our front door (called St. Pirmin/Volkshaus). A lake suitable for swimming in summer is just 5 km away.
